The NRL’s monumental problem with head injuries is continuing to torment the league with Sharks skipper Wade Graham being ruled out of the Roosters clash due to concussion.
The former Panther got his head caught in an awkward position in a tackle on Roosters prop Isaac Liu in the 15th minute and failed his head injury assessment.
Graham had already failed a head injury assessment this season, having been clobbered in the Sharks’ brutal match against the Eels in round three.
“The footwork there, set himself early and just the late footwork of Isaac Liu … The hip makes contact, he gets the head in front of the body,” said former Penrith Panthers captain Greg Alexander on Fox League’s coverage.
Commentator Andrew Voss added: “This doesn’t look good, does it?”
Alexander said: “No, it doesn’t.”
Front-rower Aiden Tolman replaced Graham on the field.
