The Crusaders are about to begin their pursuit of a fifth straight Super Rugby title under charismatic coach Scott Robertson.
It is an outrageous record – the red and black machine winning last year’s inaugural Aotearoa competition following three straight in the previous SANZAAR format.
The Crusaders kick off their 2021 campaign against the Highlanders in what should be a thrilling derby under the roof in Dunedin at 5.05pm AEDT tonight.
As always, halfback and co-captain Aaron Smith will be a key man if the Highlanders are to pull of an upset in the South Island derby.
